The product range includes both metric Crownserts® threaded inserts and imperial Crownserts® threaded inserts, with locking and non-locking part numbers grouped by series for easier selection.

Metric and imperial swaged threaded inserts for strong, reliable internal threads in lightweight materials.

Crownserts® threaded inserts are designed to reinforce internal threads in lightweight parent materials such as aluminium and magnesium. The range is split into metric Crownserts® threaded inserts and imperial Crownserts® threaded inserts, with locking and non-locking variants grouped inside the same product families where applicable. Choose by thread standard first, then select the correct series based on installation depth, engagement length, strength requirement and matching tooling.

Metric Crownserts threaded inserts

Metric Crownserts® are grouped into three main series: CSSM for compact short installations, CSXM for longer engagement length, and CSHM for stronger heavy-duty thread reinforcement.

Locking variants are grouped with their parent series: CSSML, CSXML and CSHML. Metric options are available in high-performance materials including 17-4PH, A286 and 4130 alloy steel.

Imperial Crownserts® are inch-size swaged threaded inserts grouped into CSS short, CSX long, CS standard and CSH heavy-duty families.

The imperial range covers compact, miniature, structural, large and heavy-duty applications. CSL and CSHL part numbers are the locking variants within the standard and heavy-duty imperial families.
