Metric Crownserts® are swaged threaded inserts for creating strong, reliable internal threads in lightweight materials. The metric range is grouped into three main series: CSSM short Crownserts, CSXM long Crownserts and CSHM heavy-duty Crownserts. Each series includes locking and/or non-locking part numbers where available.
Choose the correct metric series by installation depth, engagement length, strength requirement and the matching Crownserts® tooling needed for controlled installation.

Locking and non-locking part numbers are grouped together inside the same Crownserts series.
CSSM Series
The CSSM Series covers short metric Crownserts for compact installations. This family includes standard non-locking CSSM part numbers and locking CSSML part numbers.
